Bio: Elena was born and raised in the desert Kingdom known as the Fortress under a traditional, strict regime that functions just shy of martial law. Once she and her brother moved abroad for their respective reasons, it was not long before they broke free from the conditioning and became the true selves lurking beneath the shell of imposed harshness. Elena compensates for time lost by making the most of her days, having as much fun as she can, laughing loudly and hard often. However, when duty calls, serving a greater good comes as second nature.

Powers: Elena enjoys her strain of magic a little too much. She is very good at teleporting, but her specialty is her array of vivid illusions. Most times, her images are so convincing that they invoke actual reactions; a cold room can feel like a blistering heat wave, or the image of oneself that crawls out of the mirror actually grabs its original’s actual throat. A favourite that never fails her is an explosion of spiders that no one to date can’t still feel crawling all over them long after the spell is cancelled.

Extra Lore: Elena and her brother are fraternal twins who share a strong empathy with one another. They have long chosen to keep this a tightly guarded secret, since it could be exploited by enemies to harm the other. They have a long-standing pact to live their best lives not just for themselves, but for each other as well.

Quirk: Elena has a wild imagination, which comes in handy for invoking her illusions, but this makes for lucid dreams that can be nightmares, which can also manifest around her while she sleeps. This is why the paint on her bedroom walls is laced with Magusite, so that her nocturnal manifestations stay confined to her quarters.
