Race: Sprite (pyromancer)

Bio: Indreas is a fire elemental born into the Sprite Empire, who was much more powerful and therefore complex than his brethren. He was young when he realized that basking in the ambient energies of the volcanic mound was not enough and set off into the outside world to find his calling. Along the way, he observed beings of flesh and blood, but also that the surface teemed with the like. After a violent encounter with Mask agents that left a contingent burnt to a crisp, he was approached by a scout from the empire. The emperor enlisted him for his natural set of skills, which made him the perfect imperial assassin. Indreas is devoted to the empire because it has given him purpose, but he is more independent than he lets on and will change allegiances if he is shown the potential for an even greater cause.

Powers: While it’s clear Indreas has a hefty set of pyromancy skills, he also has some extra tricks up his sleeve to make his hunts more ‘entertaining’. Since Indreas manifests himself from ash, he can draw off of himself and compress it hard enough to create objects, most often, sharp knives. He is adept at teleportation and creeping, making him an apex predator with not a single want to eat his prey. While his pyromancy can cause untold damage if he chooses, Indreas thrives on the stalking and taunting of his targets.

Indreas likes to hit them where it hurts.

Extra Lore: Once, after a nuclear power facility melted down, Indreas made haste to the site so he could harvest the radioactive ash from the fallout to constitute himself. This made him extremely poisonous and weakened his targets so significantly that they often died or were out close to death before he could get his hands on them. This removed the intimacy and challenge of the hunt, so bored, he replaced his body with regular ash, taking note of the options on the table should he ever bite off more than he can chew.

Quirk: Like most sprites, Indreas looks down on those made of flesh, seeing it as fragile. However, he finds himself in his free time often watching cats, especially those in more urban areas. He finds kindred spirits in their hunting techniques, but especially in the fact that they usually do so recreationally. He relates to the way they play with their prey before making the kill, as well as their keen senses and the uncut instinct on display just before the first pounce.
