As the name implies, a Blood Phoenix is born not of fire, but liquid shed in great quantities under a full moon. They are the embodiment of vengeance, seeking everything responsible for its creation, which they have marked at birth for a violent death. While mostly nocturnal, they can be baited into daylight, where their impressive dimensions can be truly observed. They can manipulate their bones to create spikes and blades, as well as spew acrid, black blood that locks in place any target it does not outright melt. Only the strongest of wills can tame them, but many a summoner has died the moment they relax on the taxing cost of keeping one in check.
