Thanks for visiting my page! I’m a (1979-current year) from southern Quebec, who lives in a small town close to the New York border. I’ve lived in the area pretty much most of my life, and for much of my childhood, pre-internet, out in rural areas. I kept myself sane with my NES, drawing comics and using my imagination to fill in the gaps spent as an only child on vast expanses of land. Today, I found my place in the community (which I never thought possible) as the engraver for a monument (tombstone) shop that must, unfortunately, and does, cater to everyone’s final need.

My job takes two things: a steady hand and lots of patience. I’ll go more into it in an entry soon enough, if not already done by now, and it gives me what a lot of people are missing in their lives: time to think. I think a lot and learned to check out in either fantasy or recollection to pass the time. I’m sure I’d be a lesser person if I didn’t have the luxury of this ‘mental digestion’ and that lesser person would probably be in jail (lol?).

While I don’t think I classify as a geek proper, I am a pretty hardcore gamer, as well as diehard fan of Magic: the Gathering. I play board games every Saturday with my crew from the wayback, and you just can’t beat any of that in my eyes. Unless, of course, it’s a metal concert. Anywhere in Montreal is about an hour away for me, so I make a couple trips a year into the ‘big city’ to feed with my people. I’m just brushing on my hobbies here so you get a feel for who you’re reading and remember: if it doesn’t make sense, it probably does in MtG speak.

I’m also a vivid dreamer. I’m disappointed regularly waking up to this reality, well, and then I have my coffee, but I also plan to post some dreams I’ve written down over the years. I may come to regret it if it lands me in a mental institution, but it’s mostly dumb subconscious junk I’ve forced down over the years processing itself. Either way, it’s usually a lot of fun and one of my favorite things about my life.

And almost finally, the thing I like doing most with that very same life: writing. One of my favorite things is plugging sequences from the aforementioned dreams into bizarre scenarios inspired by my spheres of influence and forming a continuity. A pocket dimension in my mind that houses something I’ve cherished since I was very young: This Earth. Nothing washes away the low-grade troubles of this world like adding layers to it’s workings and telling it’s story one piece at a time. Some of this page will be short stories that take place there and bios of notable characters who exist there. It’s a pastime and an escape primarily, and I figured I may as well share it since it is such a strong part of who I am.

I’m new at this side of all this, and am really looking forward to learning and growing in this direction. Thanks in advance to anyone who gives any of this the time to read, it’s really appreciated.
