Bio: Aaron was saved by the decision to devote his life to duty, knowing any other way would have seen him spend much of it behind bars. As a retainer, he channels his pent-up energy and thirst for aggression to uphold ancient codes, which, to an outsider, can sometimes make the law appear lawless. He recognizes anyone who crosses the code as a reflection of himself had he not chosen the path of restraint for the greater good, and he treats them accordingly. Aaron’s reputation is enough to make lawbreakers think twice about their decisions in life when the young retainer eagerly comes calling.

Powers: As a stratomancer, Aaron has a strong affinity to the sky, but most notably the wind and lightning. His love for flying grew from gentle coasting as a child to breakneck maneuvers as his lust for life grew alongside him. Flight was also therapeutic, a means to burn off excess energy while pushing his limits. He is adept at harnessing skyborne electricity, which he often stores in abundance for indoor engagements. For this, he can numb limbs, charge phones, or outright cook a foe from the inside out.

Extra Lore: While it is hinted, Aaron and Ruby are, in fact, lovers. Their bonds to duty, however, never let them express their affection in public. He understands the heavy demands of her role all too well, so it was only natural that, within the constraints of their fates, they found each other. If their relationship were to end tomorrow, no one would be able to tell, except the interlopers who dared cross him while he was on duty. Thankfully, there are no signs of this happening anytime soon, but this doesn’t mean at all that anyone facing him should sigh with relief.

Quirk: Aaron has a weakness for dogs but is away too often to have one. Because of this, every dog at the Sanctuary knows him and they greet each other with equal enthusiasm. He usually has a small bag of treats in his jacket.
